The Consumer Marketing Associate Director is responsible for the strategy and execution of the digital marketing plan for consumer and patient marketing; and input into the overarching consumer / patient marketing strategy, creative campaign, tactical plan, and message platform.

1.    Development and management of digital marketing platform inclusive of:
    a.Digital channel mix and investments
    b.Individual channel performance goals and supportive measurement plan
    c.Digital marketing creative development process
    d.Execution and coordination of campaign asset deployment
2.    Development and execution of key patient-facing digital assets, including (but not limited to): and other consumer facing web properties
    b.Online video assets
    c.Patient facing mobile assets (including apps)
    d.Social Media (eg. Facebook)
3.    Work closely with Consumer / Patient marketing colleagues to support:
    a.Coordination of database marketing efforts
    b.Synergies between digital and non-digital promotion plans
    c.Overarching Consumer / Patient Marketing strategic plans, tactical plans, campaign development, and message platform development
4.    Work closely with HCP marketing colleagues to support
    a.Development of overarching brand marketing strategies, tactical plans, and key performance indicators
    b.Key business events such as National Conferences, Sales Meetings, etc. (as needed)
5.    Manage annual promotional budgets and ensure proper execution
6.    Manage external agencies / vendors 

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • 5+ years pharmaceutical marketing to the consumer, or related agency experience
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer strategies, digital tactics and associated FDA regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch and manage multi-faceted consumer digital campaigns (including digital media, online video, mobile apps)
  • Development of digital measurement plans
  • Development of consumer campaigns including (but not limited to) digital execution
  • Creation of web/app based initiatives that demonstrated a meaningful change in business results/ROI
  • Demonstrates ability to lead work groups, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate
