Celgene Corporation has an opening in Phoenix, AZ (occasional travel to New Jersey and Switzerland offices) for a Lead Specialist, IT.

Duties:  Support the Custom MES system (Manufacturing Execution System), Oracle Process Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, Receiving, Finite Scheduling, Warehousing, EAM – Plant Maintenance, OBIEE – Reporting and triage negative events that may impact the Phoenix site’s ability to manufacture, test or ship product. Resolve recurring issues and problems with fundamental solutions. Maintain and enhance approx. 10,000 Process Instructions (PI) and Process Variables (PV) that enable the Electronic Batch Record functionality. Identify problems and opportunities within processes, seeking solutions with the involvement of colleagues and clients. Refine business requirements for translation into functional specifications. Maintain contact with users and offer (technical) advice and support in a proactive manner. Engage global counterparts to ensure cross-functional continuity of new or existing, business applications or processes. Help identify process improvements through changes in practice, standardization or automation.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS, followed by 4 years of Oracle experience in the job offered, or related capacity(ies).  Accepting 2 years of professional experience, as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

Experience must include:

Writing and modifying SQL queries (Oracle PL/SQL); Oracle ERP Manufacturing Modules, OPM/Discrete, Custom MES, Inventory, Receiving, Oracle Management  and Quality; Implementation, customization and enhancements to ERP & Custom MES system, in a manufacturing environment; Business process reengineering, including documenting workflows and developing functional specifications; Effectively translating business requirements into technical requirements; Business Intelligence and reporting tools (OBIEE); Solid knowledge of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains; Knowledge of Change Control Management; Good understanding of regulatory requirements, SDLC (System development life Cycle), and how they relate to business systems and practices; Software:  Toad , SQL Developer ,Oracle Forms and Reports; ERP – Oracle R11i/R12; Hardware:  Desktop and Laptop; Operating systems:  Windows 8, Windows 10; Database:  Oracle 10g; Unix shell scripting.
