Under the direction of the Associate Director / Senior Manager Field Force Effectiveness (FFE), this individual will be responsible for data provision, analysis and implementation of all relevant data resources for FFE measures. The (Senior) Sales Analyst prepares and interprets business analyses and provides regular internal reports and dashboards. As well, this individual is responsible for implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the CRM system.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Full responsibility for developing, implementing, and improving relevant Sales Force Effectiveness tools/measures and business analyses, respectively - in close cooperation with the Sales Operations Manager I&I
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the CRM system incl. related tools and features
  • Development of new functionalities, e.g. reporting features, of the analysis tool ensuring cutting-edge analyses, user friendliness and broad tool acceptance
  • System-based improvement and support of relevant business processes (related to CRM/reporting)
  • Field Force (I&I) training and continuous user support enabling effective application of the CRM system and analysis tool(s), respectively
  • Active contribution to the (re-)design and implementation of Field Force territories and to all restructuring measures, respectively
  • Development and implementation of integrated data warehouse solutions in close cooperation with Int’l IT
  • Responsibility for purchasing relevant data, vendor interaction, and management of pertinent expense budget
  • Active support of targeting and multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Interface function: key contact person (I&I) in terms of all FFE topics for internal colleagues, peers and stakeholders
  • Close cooperation with global and international Field Force Effectiveness, Sales Analysis and/or IT colleagues and peers

Skills/Knowledge and Competencies Required:

  • Strong identification with Celgene’s values.
  • University degree in Business, IT, Life science or equivalent, MBA preferred
  • Profound Sales/Business Analysis experience with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Cross-functional team player, ability to work with all levels of personnel and establish positive working relationships
  • Highly energetic and pragmatic self-starter, with proven project management skills
  • Expertise in running and maintaining different CRM systems and analysis tools, respectively
  • Computing/IT excellence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Strong business acumen and open minded
  • Organizational and follow-up ability.
