Working closely with the Hematology/Oncology Global Marketing, Market Access, and Medical leaders, the Senior Manager Global F&BP will be responsible for providing the Hematology/Oncology franchise with sales forecasts, financial planning and business analytics.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides commercial forecast modeling and business analytics support to the Global Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Project Leadership, and Disease Strategy teams.
  • Leads financial opportunity analyses of both in-line and pipeline assets
    • Builds and runs patient based financial forecast models
    • Validates various sources of epidemiological data and key patient segments
    • Generates supporting rationale for forecast assumptions-- based on deep understanding of existing/future market dynamics and product profiles
    • Supports portfolio decision making. Creates business cases by quantifying the future financial value of clinical trials.
    • Acts as liaison with cross-functional partners and affiliate counterparts to ensure alignment of forecast parameters/assumptions
  • Advises and supports affiliate forecasting partners in the development of affiliate 5-yr Strategic Forecasts:
    • Aptly communicates and gets consensus from affiliate partners in a matrix environment without direct authority
    • Provides financial modeling expertise, epidemiology guidance, and strategic perspective
    • Ensures alignment between geographies
    • Consolidates regional forecasts and assumptions into an integrated Global 5-yr forecast
  • Leads development of the 10-year Global forecast across multiple disease teams

    Skills/Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • BS/BA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • At least 5 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology/consulting industry experience
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in various geographies, roles, hierarchic levels etc
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels
  • Travel as required ~10%
